Rodney Ogawa
Rodney T. Ogawa is Professor of Education and Director of the Center for Educational Research in the Interest of Underserved Students (CERIU) at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His research examines relationships between societal norms, the structure of educational organizations, and the contexts for learning these organizations afford and the organization of schools that promote the academic performance of Latina/o youth. He is past-Vice President of Division A (Administration, Organization, and Leadership) of the American Educational Research Association and recipient of the Campbell Award for Lifetime Achievement from the University Council for Educational Administration. His recent work has been published in the American Educational Research Journal, Review of Educational Research, Harvard Educational Review, Educational Researcher and Science Education.
