ABOUT US

UC/ACCORD is a multi-campus research unit that conducts and disseminates research directly relevant to increasing the equity along the education pipeline from pre-school to graduate school. UC/ACCORD’s body of work enhances education policy, research and practices across California.

UC/ACCORD also serves a vital role in identifying, supporting, and preparing the next generation of University of California scholars. Through conferences and mentoring programs, UC/ACCORD senior faculty support junior scholars to develop careers based both in rigorous research and in public service.

UC/ACCORD’s theme—“Research to Make a Difference”—encapsulates its primary goal. To meet this goal, UC/ACCORD funds fellowship and research grants, conducts an annual conference and contributes to the California Educational Opportunity Report.
